You raise good points, ahdofmytime. However, human trial horror stories are not exclusive to unknown companies. Please take the time to read at least some of the article linked below. It discusses egregious violations within the Big Pharma sponsored US testing centers, not third-world testing centers...

hdofmytime:

It appears PPHM is working on some real financing as we speak.

King said they have been talking to investment banks and Institutional Bio-Tech Investors. I take him at his word.
Partnering too, once shareholder value is built, which could be in the works now too.

I do not think we are at the mercy of traders/shorts any longer.

The trading has changed since late Jan, No huge swings, no violent sell offs and today was the first day we closed below the 50 dma(.01c below) in some time, on low low vol, too. Like BigOnTarvy said, the longer we go with no UU PIPE, the more likely a legitimate financing occurs. I agree 100% and the fact we still haven't seen one is even more telling. Throw in King and Co getting options for milestones met, Swartz still buying regularly and no cash bonuses for mgmt all seems to confirm the UU days are over. So now we wait for the new financing package. Roth? VC Funing? BP? and some Govt $$$?

It is getting to the time line of multiple PR's too. King spoke of many things that will happen in the first half of 2006 and items that would be completed by the end of 2006, so he can't wait too much longer before announcing them. ...

And all of these PR's will come after Human Data and after the traders have been churned out of the stock. The day after we hit $1.76, we closed at $1.45, so now we are .20c lower and institutions have been steadily buying this churn...Otherwise we'd have been sub $1.00 long ago. Also, if King did obtain Investment Banking Financing or Institutional Bio-Tech Financing, you can be assured they are buying in vol and at their price. They'll give PPHM the Money, and they'll make it all back as the PPS rises. They just need to be convinced that the PPS will rise. and I think that has been accomplished..

All is good so far...

ADH---The Constant Gardner and BP licensing....

I saw the movie, didn't read the book, went out of curiosity, since I was the victim of a clinical trial gone bad in South Africa. I thought it was a bit too fictional, a friend who is an exec for a major global CRO thought the movie was BS. He had many issues with the film, because BP would never, ever allow trials to be conducted in the manner as portrayed in the film. Nonetheless, it is something to ponder. I thought the acting was very good, and the gal opposite Ralph Fiennes won an Oscar for her role as the human rights activist.

BP licensing!!!! Well yes, absolutely. I would prefer PPHM license with BP for the cancer indications if they are going abroad. I'm not enthused about the company making a deal with some type of start-up CRO hoping to cash in on the prospects in India. BP is already establishing infrastructure in that company, Lilly, Merck, Roche, Pfizer etc. No reason IMO, why PPHM cannot successfully negotiate a license with BP to conduct the studies and with first right of opting-in pending data.
