Don't know about you all, but I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from reading the transcript. Got no sense Judge Jordan was offended in the least by Micron's end around to Judge Payne. Just the opposite; he seemed to understand their rationale. e.g. Page 21, line 22: THE COURT: One might be tempted to go so far as to say be in a far better position, I guess (in reference to Judge Payne assessing the credibility of Rambus's witnesses who testified falsely in his court).

Think it is a jump ball. The fact Judge Jordan didn't transfer the case to Judge Whyte as Rambus requested in an earlier motion, and will hear the case himself says to me he is neutral. And the fact he didn't simply enjoin Micron from proceeding with a RICO claim in Judge Payne's court tells me he will not interfere with their Virginia complaint.

Would like Judge Jordan to prove me wrong, but I have a bad feeling Micron will get its way and Judge Payne will get another day in the spotlight.

Just my opinion.
