Hi Coach, Re: AIMing UB&H strategy.............

Yes, I'm using AIM for every component. However, I have slightly different rules for the "income" side vs the "equity." For the "income" side, I use an upper limit on the Cash Reserve based upon my own history with these types of investments. On some I use 20% max cash and others 30%. I use "vealies" if I hit those cash limits.

Also, for the Income side, I generally use 10% minimum trade sizes up until I get close to the "max cash." Then I use 5% so that I can sneak up on the Max without overshooting it too much.

There hasn't been much in the way of trades on the income side in a while. Most were done during the 2008 thru 2009 period and a few afterward. I've been expecting there to be some form of interest rate melt down that would let me use up some of the accumulating cash in the income pieces. It's been a long wait.

Currently I'm just letting the cash sit in MMFs. Not very exciting.

Best regards,

PS: Do you ever play Hillsdale College for BB?

Hi coach

You will get greater volatility and therefore better use of AIM , AIMing each fund individually. The bond fund can be AIMed also but there will be less trading, but that will be at the extremes, which is good.
