Then I'm confused now. Don't they have to go thru the whole FINRA process for the symbol change or is that part of the entire process.

Post from another site by jjseabrook : One thing you should be aware of that's NOT in the PR is that before filing a DEF 14-C they must first file a PRE 14-C. They mentioned the 20 days notice required by a 14-C but the PRE 14-C requires 10 days notice before the filing of the 14-C making it a total of at least 30 days before the name change can take place. Next filing will be a PRE 14-C, IMO.
