Yesterday, he was threatening Russia with more sanctions because of the unrest in Eastern Ukraine. He keeps pressing the connection between the rebels and Mother Russia, when the only real puppet on the stage is the Western supported government in Kiev.

Saddest part, is that his job approval numbers have modestly risen.

I don't think that many have thought it through to the gas shortages. Putin is playing nice, so far.
