Wrong, I have a relative in Bcbs and deductible is $6k for an individual and ver 12k for family.
The lowest cost brnze plan wasnt an option in there case as it was an HMO their Doctor didnt accept.
The "enhanced" silver plan wasnt viable due to premium costs. As I remember the dductible was still $3500, not your fantasy $500. In fact the lowest deductible of all plans was $1500, no way this individual could afford the premiun for one of those.
