#15854 RE: deafelephant #15852

Uh Okay, Here's Some Proof
2 years you've been asking me yet I've only been using iHub for just over a month? Hmmmm....anyway.

Where was Alan wrong about MJNA?
How about telling people not to invest or trade in the first place or writing such negative stuff as to keep people away? MJNA has gone up 400% since he really got going last year. hen MJNA dipped to .09 and others screamed buy, Alan chastised them. When I bought more at .16, he called MJNA a "dud" and again insulted me for buying but then never followed up to find out how the sale was at .47

OH and how about scaring people away before the Jan 1, 2014 legalization event, closing even his own positions on 420Investor, missing out on 10x the measly gains he had in his paper portfolio despite holding several winners?

And that about sums up where he is wrong. He writes all this negative crap about companies, scaring away investors from the stocks HE dislikes and pumps the stocks HE likes. Unfortunately, the 2 main stocks he touted have fallen victim to the very "warnings" he issued

It could not be more apropos.

Little fishes like Brochstein and Sykes need to be tossed from the bowl because they pollute the environment. I'll say that at least Alan seems like he is a decent guy who is trying hard and just had a bad lot in life as a failed analyst. He may be a good guy for all I know. Sykes on the other hand is a self absorbed D Bag who thinks he's really part of the cool crowd. I cannot believe that guy is so lame as to shoot his own self promotional episode of Cribs in that garbage Miami shack.

But what do I know. I'm not here to brag, or post screen shots of my gains, or pound my chest, or engage in pissing contests. I'm just doing what I've always done on message boards since first defending my AAPL purchase in 2003 when people at Yahoo said I was an idiot for buying AAPL at 14 (28 but 2:1 split in 05):
I enjoy discussing what leads me to buy/sell and defending those position so people can see how an experienced, unemotional, high net worth individual invests. I'm not looking to build a following so I can fleece them while giving them crappy advice. I'm not looking to pump or bring down companies. I'm just anonymously discussing this stuff with absolutely zero ulterior motives

Has Brochstein apologized to the thousands of newbie inexperienced investors he lead to slaughter by getting behind PHOT and CANN?

He is, however, a guru to more than 2,000 investors who pay $42 per month — and soon more than $50 per month — for his advice, trade alerts, market videos, professional perspective and access to the industry via his 420 Investor service.

The Cannabist: Who is the average 420 Investor?

Brochstein: I’m dealing with a lot of novices.

We polled our members and 80 percent of them responded that they’re novice or inexperienced. We’re attracting a new investor...

The Cannabist: What about a couple pot stocks that would be solid long-term investments?

Brochstein: Two the 420 Investor community really like: GrowLife (PHOT) and XXXXXXX. The reason people like them: Both of these management teams are the best in the industry. They’re very transparent, and they have the right kind of backgrounds. And they seem to be the central players in the public space.

Speaking of the AVT Inc V Alan Brochstein lawsuit, why isn't Alan defending himself? He failed to file his answer withing the 30 day time frame after he was served.

Have they even served you? Or is this suit even more of a joke than I think it is?

I signed a FedEx

And if check on the court website, you see he is still unrepresented and hasn't filed a response yet. Way more than 30 days.

So, what did he do with the $12 grand he received as donations to hire a lawyer and fight this lawsuit?

My choices are to try to settle with them, which would be convenient but just wrong, or to fight the suit, which means I have to hire a lawyer in California with a retainer just to start of $10,000. I am told that to file a counter-suit could cost $25,000 or more.

Brochstein and Marketfy split the revenue from 420 Investor’s subscriptions, but “Alan receives the lion’s share of revenue,” Bazzy said. It’s certainly a living — with overall revenues topping $84,000 per month in their current structure and more than $150,000 per month after they up the subscription fee and reach 3,000 paying users.

I see a default judgement in the very near future.

Default judgment
Default judgment is a binding judgment in favor of either party based on some failure to take action by the other party. Most often, it is a judgment in favor of a plaintiff when the defendant has not responded to a summons or has failed to appear before a court of law.
