Your question only leads to speculations. I am one that does not care to assume anything, but my only guess is that they had a candidate that they had lines up but could have come across someone with more value, knowledge, experience and which as an investor that means they are not freely spending money on payroll but can reinvest the money back into the company products and advertisements until further notice
