Blue here are some links to posts I made over the weekend about options and the need to expense them. The main reason why I would like to see them expensed is so shareholders actually see the cost of granting these options. Burried in the footnotes makes it seem like there is no cost to shareholders but there is a huge cost. Right now I don't have the time to get real detailed about it but Dish knows nothing about what he speaks.

You guys must realize that management does not care about you or myself for one freaking second. If they piss us off enough, we will sell, but when the price goes low enough, someone new will be there to buy. In the end, we simply have a change in ownership with one group getting richer, the Management. They can sugarcoat the reasons for options but watch where the majority of the options are granted to. Why not just grant the patent developers with cash bonuses? What if you were in their position running a company? Would you go to work to make your neighbor money or do you go to work to make yourself money. IDCC is no different than any other company with regards to options. The company will and has been viewing their growth on revenue, not earnings. Options do not effect revenue, they effect earnings. But in the end it's our own money. Spend it wisely.
