It was an act of irrational desperation, even i did the same stupidity, and checked Kerry's name and then went home and got sick. I fully realized that if Kerry won it would be bad news, but i have a visceral hate for Bush .
How deep my hate? Enough that i get sick of people saying "well he is no Hitler."
And i now respond, that in his own peculiar way, Bush is as evil as Hitler; he is just "folksy" slow mo evil ooozing over america and the world like some slow but nonetheless lethal CANCER.

Even Nader groups in Maine were sayng vote Bush, as we got to the last week, btw.

CT, only one thing can break this system, imo; a revolution.

As the powers have such a grip on the system that no revolution via the voting box will succeed.

I scan the horizon and i see absolutely no person that could
counter the deeply entrenched order of this country at the election box.

The significant influential third party dream that i used to see as a solution i no longer see.

And when you get such an entrenched system as this, where third party moves are immediately castrated you then have a system which is going to evolve eventually to a revolution, violent in nature.
That is where we are now, imo, on a road evolving(how ever slowly) towards revolution.

Name me one person that could lead a succesful attack via the ballot box, and over throw our present one party system.

Any such person would by the vast majority be seen as "dangerously radical".
This country in the overall has never been this right wing in my lifetime, and Bush dropping in the polls is NOT an indicator the country is not still shifting evermore to the right.

If, for instance, a charismatic energy and magnetic young face were to hit the scene and get numbers behind him, he would be assassinated.
No, now the game is, let's groom a fellow like Obama, and sell him as the radical new man--hell he is not radical, he is acceptable and well within the rules of the one party system. Max
