ITT settles with Samsung, Sprint Nextel

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—ITT Industries Inc. said it settled a patent-infringement claim involving Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., related Samsung companies and Sprint Nextel Corp.


ITT said that details of the settlement would not be made public, but that it would resolve all the infringement issues. The claim related to Global Positioning System technology and had been scheduled to go to trial this month.
