Honestly I can't imagine that the new rule will have much affect on stocks at all,maybe a few and maybe we get lucky for a squeeze,but the fact that the use of the CNS system has decreased by 90% or something like that since 2007 tells me that brokers have been preparing for this for some time.It's not new news to them ,they knew it was coming long ago and have prepared for it.I could be wrong ,just my observation from the decrease of use of the NCSS and CNS system.
