Has anyone done any cost-basis analysis on the AAMRQ-AAL conversion? After the initial dist in Dec, the cost-basis value posted on my brokerage account was several times greater than the actual value. I noticed that after today's distribution, the cost-basis reported on my brokerage acct was reduced by a factor of 1.88...
Should we expect our acct to show the original cost-basis once all distributions are completed?
Any smart folk on the board that could explain this?
