That is totally incorrect.. If you sell it takes up to 3 days for funds to settle.. I have had them settle immediately though. But that's besides the point.. If you have funds available for trading there is no reason why you can't buy and sell on the same day. Now.. If you do it more than 4 times in a 5 day rolling period you will have to have $25,000 in your available funds at all times.
