Applying your logic to another situation, let's say you own some investment property - a nice beach house that you rent for $7,000.00 a week in season. I want to use your beach house, but I don't feel like paying for it. So I pick the lock and sneak in during an off week. I clean up after myself and don't damage any property and the lock the door after I leave. You don't even know I've been there (assume for purposes of this hypothetical that my presence does not cause an increase in your utility bills). You haven't been "harmed." Therefore my sneaking into and occupying your house without your consent should be OK by you.
