OT Yes....well tube gear and record collecting are my main vices....audiophiles in the know have never abandoned vinyl...the high end turntables today can cost north of 50K ! It is kind of an elite hobby given that CDs comprise 99.99% of the industry revenue I am sure. I compare it to wine (another passion of mine)...I am sure that Gallo outsells JJ Prum Riesling or Argiano Brunello by a factor of 10,000 to 1....but oh what a difference :) I have a couple of systems...an all tube 60s Mac system with a C22 preamp, MR71 tuner and a pair of MC275 amps....as well as a modern Cary tube pre and main amp system.....pure listening pleasure...and yes they marry perfectly with a nice glass of fine wine :)
