Marty it all depends! It depemds on the Geo studies that have been done. Some of the wellls that are drilled hit oil at say 1500 feet. This may be a slight anticline in the overall picture of what mother nature has shown, and provided. If the original Geo survey was to reach oil at the 5000 foot level because of a larger anticline, and larger pool of oil, this then becomes an area of serendipity. The unknown has occured. A big plus for the owner. All wells are similar, but not the same. Tell your friend to ask the company what is what. george
