well if I am a baker and bake the best cakes in the world.
they I buy a restaurant to serve the cake when there are
many bigger better restaurants ..

VMware, citrix, redhat (trying) and others have vdi solutions.
the application gets parked on a server how you serve it is a totally separate thing.

that is not there expertise nor would they be the first company contacted to implement vdi

that's all I am saying - I just don't get why they bought them.
