Like I said...just trying to be objective, haven't ever (21 years of trading), seen anywhere that putting a sell order out of touch takes shares out of the borrowed pool...quite the contrary. I have seen situations over the years where borrowed shares get derivitized (new word I just made up; where broker dealers loan more shares than even exist get borrowed and I think that was naked! SEC looked under that Kimono, was quietly resolved (never read another article)...that was about 15 years back. Go DEWMar
