Who knows, maybe they want to actually sell Google hw/sw solutions, not just use them internally.

I doubt it. One reason Google may not want an off-the-shelf Intel processor is that they have a specific need for an accelerator that they don't want their competition to have. I'm not sure if Google is big enough to justify Intel building a Google-only SKU.
