While my writing skills are below average, my reading is above, and after reading your post 3 times, i'am clueless on what you know you wrote, but what you wrote to me is not what you knew.
Anyway, you have touched on a possible future enhancement for iHub's Filter feature. Currently it is an On/Off type ignore of another person's postings with that extra layer to filter out posts from people you do not have on filter, but do so when they post to the person you have on filter.
On this board i'am sure some have already mentioned that while they want to ignore certain folks, they also don't place all filtered people in the same degree of "to ignore."
From this iHub could eventually add another option that while it may not be directly linked to the filter code, it may serve the same purpose if the results were focused.
For example, you have gotmilk on ignore plus posts to him. But you hear mentioned in a post between two people you do not have on ignore, that he posted the secret ingredient that makes Krispy Kreme Donutes taste extra special good.
So now imagine that you can click into gotmilk's iHub Profile, and along side the Read Last 50, of which i wonder what happens if you did it while he was on Filter, but there was another Read Last 50 type option that is NOT, i repeat NOT related to Filter, but will display the last 50 posts that this person made to you, if any. Ofcourse BobZ could eventually expand this as follows: Read Last 50 this iHub member made to [___] (default is you)
If any of this rings a bell or dongs a gong, or is it gong a dong? then please submit to the iWish board To: Darth #board-1312 The New iHub Wish List (NEWWISH) This board is a new place to keep track of bug reports, suggestions, and other ideas for making iHub a better place. ... purpose of this board is for everyone to be able to voice their ideas and thoughts, and I'll get clarification where needed and compile a weekly list to present to Bob, and track a schedule for estimated completion dates and occasionally report those...
