Unsure when CUSIP & name-change occurs, but ususally its once the 'new business model' has been 'initiated', and the name change 'makes sense'.

I've only been in (1) stock that went through an active name/CUSIP change, and it took about (3) days for all Brokers to become updated, and the chill to be lifted.
