...is less-than 'accurate', as there would be no way for $AEGY to both do a Name & CUSIP change in one day like that. Each MM/Broker has to 'exchange' and update, (usually when 'naked shorts' get caught just as described) and that will probably cause a 2-3 day halt to trading; called a 'freeze' and/or 'DTC chill'. Once that is lifted, all trading will continue, but likely with a new leg of growth!
