Need a count hit when doing a search.

(example)
Message Results search on: "user"

Previous 50

ok,
But while this is a foolish example, and i'am able to view
the next 50 search hits (those previous aka later in time)
i have no idea if there are 150 more or 150,000 more.
so,
Need the number of search hits to be displayed so that
if its a huge number then one is thusly clued in to try
another search with more qualifiers to cut down the hits.

also,
At the bottom of the page where hits are listed,
and if there are more than 50, then while a "Previous 50"
is expected, i also would expect to see a "Next 50"
so that one can back-up and re-look at one just looked at
rather than do that Backwards keyboard/menu command
and take a chance of losing the results.
but,
Previous 50
Previous 50
is on my screen,
and both do a previous.
