freep, from what I read (books like Bulkowski) it's nice to have higher volume on the left but the formation can still work w/o it. Perhaps the broadness of the left shoulder (longer time) is one reason for the lower volume. As far as the left shoulder being broader, that just reminds me of some of my relatives! -hiker
