First of all, the JUPITER trial was for a Statin, statins have the ability to lower LDL while raising HDL and they also lower hsCRP, an inflammatory biomarker. So you cannot compare a Statin nor its results with EPA. If anything, the truest clinical trial comparison that one can use for Vascepa is the trial called JELIS, go look it up.
