AFAIK, they don't even own any patents. They are all "applications." The only patented technology they use, was patented by Nicholas, and he hasn't even assigned any formal rights.

I could be wrong, but I would suspect you would see a press release if and when any are "issued" to the company. A hostile takeover would likely result in revocation of any patent uses, IMHO.

From what I have seen, they have little more than a glorified gym sock, which is what I use to filter algae in my tanks. Gym socks, without any glorification.
