The distinction is between something that should be unlawful and something that is immoral. Things that should be unlawfull are distinquished by the fact that there are victims. They often involve someone having power over someone else and taking advantage of that in a harmful way. Incest and rape fall into those categories. What happens between two consenting adults is at most a moral issue and should not be dictated by law.

Over the years I've worked with several guys who had male mates. One in particular hid the fact from almost all of us for many years. He was the top producer in the company. Eventually he took a chance and invited everyone over to his home for a barbeque... from Prez of company on down (we were a small co). We all met his partner of 18 years and they interacted just like any other couple I've known. They are good decent people and don't deserve the descrimination and intolerance they face daily. As far as I'm concerned, it's nobodies business what they do behind closed doors.

What are we going to do, put mini cams in every bedroom? The sodomy law is obviously a thinly veiled attempt to ban homsexuality. You can't outlaw what somone is.
