You've changed your argument somewhat. Your old argument (#msg-94273082) was that shortening the duration of HCV treatment from 24 weeks to 12 weeks and eliminating interferon will “more than double” physician throughput; your new argument is that simply eliminating interferon from the regimen will increase throughput by an unspecified amount.

As noted at the bottom of #msg-94309659, I think your interferon argument has merit. How much effect it will have is open to debate. However, the element of your old argument that shortening the duration of therapy by 2x will lead to a (linear) 2x increase in throughput doesn't stand up to mathematical scrutiny for the reason given in #msg-94309659.
