they do have a 10% stake in yippy, which is a fortunate thing, but just to clear up a misunderstanding.... IBM did not acquire that stake through anything having to do with yippy or rich. Instead IBM bought a company called vivissimo and that company was owed money by rich as part of him buying rights to use vivissimo technology. that cash debt was converted from a cash debt to shares and hence, IBM owns 10% of yippy.
