If the shorters haven't covered in 8 months, the interest alone will bankrupt them...there is no way in hell anyone will let short sales on a grey sheet stock ride for 8 months...The interest alone would bankrupt any large company, and besides that...Once a stock hits the greys, brokers call the shorts in...

The brokers won't let them ride that long...

How would they cover with no bid and no ask? They can't and that's exactly why there are no shorts allowed on a grey sheet stock, there was never a a huge NSS on srge, and there still is not. There is not a single short sale against any grey sheet stock
