FWIW: I noticed the directions for explorer did make the cut/copy so I will add my .02 cents Re: Cookie handling... Because I live out in the sticks and have such a low ring in speed "26,400bps" this is not a typo... I have had to streamline and modify things to keep the bugs from hogging my bandwidth.
The following is how I have my cookie handler set... In MSFT windows click on Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced You should see this... and this is my settings.
It's kind of a pain in the @ss at first because you keep getting prompted to always allow/accept or not cookies... NOTE: When prompted, I always say "NOT" and that can be edited... I will explain L8r. see *** Note: I always say "NOT" or no and edit later if I can't get where I want to go.
The setting I use keeps out the third party cookies and third party cookies is what ends up bogging my ring in speed or band width down.
*** Note: In MSFT windows click on Tools, Internet Options, Security You should see this...
Now... I don't want to get bogged down in cut/paste So... if you play with this area you will find you can add and delete sites from trusted and restricted sites. "My restricted sites list is very long!" Personally... I have added sites to both for obvious reasons. I truly hope this helps.... It was a long hard road for me out here in the sticks but I have learned a few things:)
