If its okay with the two of you gargantuan gamblers, why don't we start with a few million dollar orders. Each turnkey machine costs around $350,000 each. So if we get a customer to buy 10 turnkey systems, then we are talking about a one time sale of $3.5 million.
If we are fortunate, LQMT will get a ten percent fee, royalty, whatever and make $350,000 for all ten machines.
Of course, we do not know whether or not Materion is paying LQMT a royalty for the liquidmetal alloys it will be selling.
But just selling turnkey systems does not seem like oodles of revenue to pay Steipp's bills to stay afloat.
Time for people to learn how the real world operates, including those in the LQMT head shed, which to date, has produced a lot of gas that stinks.
