I have been a follower of this board for quite some time. I am a shareholder and want PTQ to do great.

I find those "petaquilla es Panama" statements irritating. The fact that somehow the government would not allow First Quantum to acquire Petaquilla. That Fifer is well connected etc...

yet the president Martinelli himself backstabbed Petaquilla and it's shareholders when he said something like "I don't care about mining" in 2011.

That statement had prompted me to sell my shares and I was sure glad I did. The price did never recover. I know there are other factors that played into the downfall but it left a very sour taste in my mouth. I bought back in when I thought the stock had been slaughtered enough.

My question is why would government prevent the sale? I just don't see that as a viable argument.
