It's really too bad, that all you people who had your hopes pinned on a revolutionary tire, something that everyone uses and needs, are now hoping that a piece of sports equipment with limited appeal and market is going to save your butts. Talk about bait and switch. I'm glad I'm out of the stock. People won't buy one of these instead of any kind of bike. Bikes people understand and want. Street Striders, not so. Also, when you go down the road on one of these things, you swerve to the right and left, over and over again. On a bike path, with limited space, and where bicyclists try to predict where the person in front of them will be, it could be a dangerous thing. It also seems the surface would have to be perfectly smooth and without debris, since you would be depending on the tires "biting", to give you forward motion. It's a novel device, nothing more. Some will buy one, but not many. IMO
