Asia Outlook: China's GDP
Asia Outlook: China's GDP is expected to improve slightly in Q3, expanding at a 7.6% y/y pace after the 7.5% y/y clip in Q2. China's growth prospects have taken a turn for the better since mid-year. While GDP growth this year will fall short of the lofty rates seen in recent years, the economy appears to have regained momentum after slowing through Q2. Growth is expected at 7.5% in 2013, down from the 7.7% rate in 2012 but in-line with the government's target for this year. The report is due out overnight.
