Folks, I'm still catching up on Q&A...and just wanted to insert...
Our intention is to go with a 3 column format on read messages because this is standard message board format across the net. While it might be difficult to get used to at first, we do need to stay up to date, within reason, with industry standard.
iHub has evolved greatly over the last 12 years and this is part of the process.
We had intended there to be a roll out and discussion prior to the new format being introduced but, unfortunately, that wasn't able to happen.
We are hearing that folks don't like this new layout but help us with constructive feedback. For example, I find the "related boards" that are showing up on Q&A as totally worthless to me as well. What would make more sense?
I, personally, am not having the same issues others are with reading the message but I have a large monitor on my laptop. Not a geek, but as I understand it (maybe) our default font size is larger than industry standard so do we decrease the font size and allow Users to manage it themselves on their devices?
So, instead of the conspiracy theories that this was done for xxxx reasons, it would be helpful and appreciated if everyone could stick to the issue and what would be better. (K, I realize everyone is going to say the old format would be better. I don't know if it's an option that we have a "classic" version or not. If not, then what?).
