--EDIT-- Barge I agree that ViiV and Live will eventually need a TPM to grant access to premium content (eventually).
But barge, the Embassy software is already bundled with Intel boards (EDIT, and this was before ViiV even existed) and it is easy to assume that any TPM board will have ETS, anyway. We already knew this two years ago. I'm asking about where you state that "viiv is everywhere, so is ETS" how you come to that conclusion.
That statement indicates that Wave will get bundling contracts with all Intel chipset and processor suppliers to end users in the world because ETS is required.
I think *any* TPM activation software would do (EDIT) for whichever OEM is going to deploy ViiV platforms and Intel's bundling never affected other OEMs that shipped Intel chips to bundle Wave and not Infineon.
Please show me where they say ViiV is in need of "ETS" and not an "activated TPM".
EDIT, until I see specific OEM collaboration between Wave and Intel to specifically support ViiV inside ETS for some specific need, I can't see any Intel influence on OEMs deploying TPMs to require ETS.
