Since we don't have a transcript of the hearings we could only guess at the issues but we do have IDCC sec filings and pr announcements.

First Samsung is saying that SonyEricsson is not a trigger the same argument that NOK made.

Second Samsung is saying that even if Sony Ericsson is the trigger, Samsung does not have to pay until Nok sends a check.

Those are my guesses.
