People mistakenly seem to think that if the economy fails gold will be their "savior". Well people, if the economy totally fails gold along with paper money will be absolutely worthless. You can't eat gold, you cant shoot game or catch a fish with gold. Plant gold and it will not render grain. Come on people, if the world economy completely fails, the barter system will be the only means of trade. Go ahead and stock up on physical gold and see where it gets you in an economic apocalypse. By the way, I own shares on NUGT and it will go back up here in the next two weeks or so I believe.
