"Dangerous in a straight line at highway speeds" , "The physics strongly support this" That is as incorrect a statement as I have ever seen. The physics support it so much that I can only assume that no be else came up with the design years ago for one of two reasons. One, they thought it might look a little weird on the car due to the slight camber. Two, they didn't know how to build the camber into the tires or the technology didn't exist when/if someone had the thought. Crack open a physics book and read it as it relates to this technology. Then come back on the board with your calculations. Please include all facets of the tire such as the treading, rubber shoulder, etc. as all areas are important to the safety and handling of the vehicle.
