Up to double - rather different.

An uncited bit at Wikipedia says the frequency went up to 1.7 Ghz from 1.3 Ghz. That would give a 30% uplift. ARM said (as far as I can work out) that their A57 design would be between 20% and 50% faster than the A15 on 32 bit work at the same frequency - probably average 30% - which is surprising given the pipeline looks exactly the same and they only seem to have improved the branch prediction and store access. Then again the Apple A7 design is probably quite different.
