Damn French Canadians.

I no longer have my NWOL notes, and I never posted on the board, but as I recall, Amyot isn't quite French Canadian. His parents were from Ukraine, and he grew up in a Russian community in Canada.

That would explain his involvement with AURC and NWOL; no doubt he speaks the language.
