The GZFX of today is a far cry from the GZFX of 2004 IMO. Adsouth, the PR firm mentioned, is history, and the Howard Stern interviews, as well as the Ben Curtis TV ads, were a product of a bad marketing plan, since dropped. The Talknstock.com thing is a non-event, it's true, but to construe that as their promotional strategy is ludicrous. It was a cheap way to get some growth information out to shareholders, IMO. Period. I sincerely doubt they paid "thousands of dollars" for it, but I'll admit to being wrong if this poster has a copy of the invoice.

Bungled the debut of the Xbox 360? Who had games to rent BEFORE retailers had them on their shelves, and subsequently ran out? Um.....GZFX did. Doesn't sound bungled to me.

Bungled the holiday season of 2005? Um...Does a Circuit City partnership and growth of 110% count as bungling? I must have my definitions updated then!

As for the New Releases page, the CEO has this to say on the matter (from stockinformationssystems.com CEO Journal section)

New Releases - DVD
Question: I was looking over your list of titles in the dvd movie area, and I noticed the number of titles is limited. In the area of new releases I found titles like "True Lies" crica 1995ish. Very few of the titles were actually new releases. Are there any plans underway to actually stock new releases in any quanitity ?

Answer: "New Releases DVD" on our website are based on titles which have been released or re-released within the past 7 days.

This poster doesn't like the website? Fine. GZFX will have a new one fairly soon. Completely different, with more features and product lines.

This poster thinks JF and CG are "inept" and have "squandered every opportunity to make GZFX competitive"? I have to laugh. Yes, mistakes were certainly made in the past. HOWEVER, look at what we are talking about here...a national rollout in 600+ Circuit City stores! That ain't huge? That isn't trying to be competitive? Again, I am laughing. This person is mixxing in facts and events from what is essentially ancient history, and trying to portray them in the present tense. It's just not accurate. With the coming of the CC partnership, this company entered the realm of growth companies, and was able to put the past behind them. I am still amazed that CC, with nothing else to look at besides the poor and slow start that GZFX admittedly had, STILL decided to take a chance with them. Why is that, do you suppose?

Who is this Time Being, and why are we always doing things for it?
