xanadu: I think CC is BETA testing internally now. In light of the GZFX site being pulled into the CC site via an I-frame. The GZFX database and overall web site should be on load balanced servers and the web site and database are dynamic; which means items, components can be added on the fly without much effort.

BETA secure commerce is simple as well. Run a few test transactions and then credit those transactions back. I think there is a test number supplied by VeriSign or whomever they decide to use for secure commerce.

Once the “shell” or “style sheets” are established; links, inventory, graphics are fairly easy to update and maintain. It’s mostly “dynamic” and pull up the requested elements “on-the-fly.”

I was the former Creative Development Director for http://www.visionone.ws for many years and we developed a ticketing system as an alternative to Ticketmaster. Some concerts we supported, such as U2 required our servers to handle ON SALE (first few hours) and they were HIT HARD with traffic.

If done right, after complete BETA, all they really do is “Flip-the-switch” and whammy… up and live.
