MON tends to move in tandem with crop prices even though this is irrational, so the current slide is likely related to the discussion in #msg-91021938 and #msg-90897108.

MON is affected much less directly than DE by the spot prices of corn and soybeans, but many investors don’t seem to appreciate this.
