Bay Trail-T/Android 4.2 platform is set to be released in mid-November.

The sources pointed out that MediaTek is offering its ARM-based solutions at around US$15. If Intel can offer a similar price, it would allow the CPU maker to rise to the same level as others in the game, the sources explained.


So android is a month after windows and it's only 4.2; in mid November. This completely misses the year-end shopping season no? with an android release one version behind the latest (my phone has 4.3; I think it's out).

Also power/performance must be OK but not significantly better as people seems to want similar pricing to existing solutions.
