Nick, a couple of questions that might help with a diagnosis.

Are you running any other programs at the time you are having a problem? Like ICQ? MS Messenger?

How many windows do you usually have open?

How much RAM do you have?

What processor speed? P1, P2, etc.?

What operating system are you using?

Do you have the scan engine open when you're having these problems?
