Marketgems Earnings Trader- Trading Strong or Weak Earnings Growth

Short on watch: Already in MXIM, YHOO,EBAY and NVLS puts. Looking for shorts in GILD, UNTD, VRTS and NTES. I will be concentrating on a few intensely rather than scalping 'innies and outies' randomly.

This is the second FORAY into EBAY puts after having caught that first gap 'n crap on 3/28. The spinning top close on eBAY leaves us with some promising set ups for tomorrow and as close to earnings as possible. For holding I'm still sticking with the S&P and pharmies and I don't feel we need to wait for a full bottom before beginning to pick some good companies from good homes. (not interested in techs or high p/e companies with no growth) Holding those IBM calls is about as much 'invested' as I want to be in anything remotely tech. Stocks like KLAC, QLGC, MXIM, NVLS XLNX MSFT ELX etc. look like random jigsaw pieces with no rhyme or reason and certainly completely trendless.
