Re: Broadband Service
I've found that my broadband service through cable is slower lately, too. We're not sure if it's because we use a router to split the service between our two computers, or because of more subscribers in our neighberhood. We, too, were warned when we first got broadband, that the more "traffic," the slower service would be. But dial-up was a nightmare, as we were always getting knocked offline, not to mention tying up the telephone line, so I suppose we'll stick with cable-access, despite the cost.
My service actually improved recently. I had been having real problems with the service hanging, and then, a couple of weeks ago, it just stopped. The speed is fine too.
